Here at H Bell & Sons, we try to help local causes alongside the projects we complete. We have links to a wide range of local charities, and organisations which help those who need it.
With Easter approaching, we connected with local partners and donated 350 Easter eggs to ensure many local families could enjoy a special treat this holiday. Working through John Shaw, Rochdale’s current Man of the Year, we provided a batch of eggs to the volunteers at Springhill Hospice.
Additional deliveries were sent to Jolly Josh, a facility dedicated to children with complex needs—including a state-of-the-art hydrotherapy pool—so that young users could celebrate Easter. Aspire 2 Inspire Communities, which works diligently to build community cohesion across the Rochdale Borough, also received a visit from the Easter Bunny.
We donated more eggs to Home Start Rochdale & Bury, a unique organization that recruits and trains volunteers with parenting experience to support families in their own homes. These donations will go directly to families who may otherwise be unable to afford treats for their children this spring.
We’d like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Happy Easter, as we move through spring and look forward to the summer months ahead.
