Richard Street – Refurbishment

H Bell and Sons have recently completed the refurbishment of the old Unison building on Richard Street near the Fire Museum.

The building now houses an innovative and imaginative creative hub, with a mixture or rooms for a wide range of uses. The building will be able to house performance spaces, artisan workshops and meeting areas, providing a new destination for creativity in Rochdale.

With excellent transport links via the rail network and Metrolink in easy walking distance, this repurposed resource is an alternative to the expensive options in Manchester city centre.

The works were undertaken on behalf of Rochdale Council.
